i want to by a motorbike in japan and how can i got it when i was living in australia. please help me

I have a home there and wish to drive a motorbike or car to Turkey, I know I am allowed to and most insurance companies cover you whilst ther, and, you do not need a Carnet… but, as a British homeowner there and a tax-number holder, what are the rules for taking, and more importantly, keeping, my vehicle there? anyone got any ideas in regard to this? thanks.

38 years old & just passed motorbike test, not too much experience on bikes but would look silly on a 125. was thinking of a suzuki bandit or maybe a triumph tiger, i am a sensible person who won’t be popping wheelies and would appreciate any advice on what bikes i should maybe look at.

It should be fuel efficient and good looking.

I have a Yamaha xv535, with spoked wheels, front and rear but want to change them for alloy wheels.
Can anyone tell me which bike would have a compatable set of alloy wheels.
Bearing in mind that the rear wheel is shaft driven!

No your CBT is only for you to drive by yourself on L Plates on the Public Highway.
Before CBT arrived you could on L Plates carry a Pillion as long as they held a Full Motor Bike Licence, But that has now been stopped.
You Must pass the Driving Test, Within 2 years of Passing your CBT or have to retake it, before you can carry a Pillion at all now.
After you Pass you can as long as the Bike is designed to carry 2 people, They must sit astride the Bike, Facing forward and feet must sit properly on the Foot Pegs provided. There is no minimum Age Limit for the Pillion.
The other thing to remember is that you can Pass your CBT on a Twist and Go or Manual Geared Bike and ride either. However when you take your Driving Test if you Pass on a Twist and Go you will only be able to Ride those on Full Licence. You would only have a Provisional for a Manual Geared Bike.

I would have to cover a distance of 30 miles a day, over hilly country roads as my parents cant afford to drive me and there is no bus service. is a 125 enough or would it wear out ?

honda zx or honda dio?

I’ve looked around a lot for policies, conditions insrtuctions, you name it, nowhere gives me a clear idea of what i have to do to get on the road or what limitations i will have, engine size and power for example. Can someone please enlighten me?
