I have two speeding tickets on my record that were three months apart, totaling 8 points on my record. I’m concidering going to Traffic Safety school… that would reduce my points total, by 3, to a total of 5.
Would this be worth it? 5 points is still one more point then a speeding ticket.
Does the Insurance company look at convictions or point totals?
If i were to buy a motorcycle, would this help my insurance quotes on that too?

I have always thought that only police have these powers, however recently a westminster warden removed a cover to get to my bike and gave me a ticket, the council are maintaining that the wardens do have this power ( although they don’t usually seem to exercise it).
So I thought I would clarify the exact legal position, before I try to nail them to the wall.. any assistance.

motorcycles cause less congestion, less pollution and use less gasoline. Yes there are safety issues, but with wiser road design and education a lot could be done about that.

I will be doing my A2 test soon and was wondering if i could over take in the following situation: In queuing traffic at traffic lights a car stalls when the lights are green, there is ample space in front of the stalled car. Now i would normally overtake anyway but would i fail if i did that on my test?

On a Motorbike in the UK is it illegal to overtake slow or stopped traffic ques?
I ride an Aprilia RS125 with L plates on a CBT. (Soon to take bike test)
Is it illegal?
