Is It Legal To Wear An Army Style Motorcycle Helmet…in The Uk (pic)?

Author: My father just came back from Turkey, where he bought me an Army style motorcycle helmet. I was wondering if I could wear it in the UK. It did have a sticker on the back which i assume was the safety standards which it met, although my father removed this sticker before giving it to me…so I cannot tell if it meets UK standards.http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31…

Which Style Of Motorcycle?
I have NEVER owned or driven a motorcyle, but I have the fever. I will enroll in a Motorcycle safety course, and I was wondering what the differences were in cruiser style bikes and choppers. I want to get a good riding bike that won’t cost me everything to own, so I would like to stay around $6,000 to $7,000 and still be able to take long trips. I looked at several bikes and a friend says a chopper is the best, but I dont know…He even suggested a Johnny Pag Spyder with a 300cc engine to start on. How do choppers ride with the rake out so far? Better for highways? I will be using mine for commuting to work (80 miles round trip) and MAYBE some travelling. Any suggestions?
