As A Mom Would You Say Anything, Okay I’m Gonna Say Something 4 The Safety Of The Baby How Do I?
w/o losing a friend?
my husband is 22 & he has been good friends with this guy who is 19, for about 5 yrs. his friend just started working where my hubby does, the same shift, so he told my hubby, “hey i’ll drive since i have to come by your house to go to work.” so my husband said great, yesterday was the first time, now his friend lives with his girl friend (who is 17, and just had a baby 8 months ago) and her parents,
so my hubby comes home this morning and he was like their baby’s car seat is facing forward and it moves whenever he goes around a curve, i’m like what? so he said that the car seat literally raises up on one side when he goes around the curb. picture leaning on a motorcycle. and slides along the seat a little.
now i know they are young, but their daughter is 8 months old, and only weighs 14 lbs (she was a preemie) so i know it’s not suppose to be turned around facing forward yet & the fact that it moves, and moves that much. i was like did you say anything, he said i asked him about it and he said her parents put it in the car for them
okay now i’m just a nosy, very opinionated mom, and i can and will bite my tongue on stuff that is none of my business, but this is my business because if anything happens (like they wreck and that little girl dies) it’s on me cause i know better and i didn’t do anything about it, now i have no idea how in the instructions her parents missed the part about it being turned rear facing till 1 year old or a certain weight, nor do i know how they missed the part about it not having to be tight, but my husband said is leans and slides along the seat, so not safe
but what upset me more was i was mulling this around all morning, so i wake him up and tell him to call them and invite them up for a cookout and to play in the pool, they come up and she is like i love swimming, i told her i have a small baby pool for the kids, she puts her baby, who can’t sit up on her own in the baby pool and walks off, yes i was there, but what if i wasn’t, my son can sit up on his own, the fact that i never leave him alone has nothing to do with it. but so anyway, that’s fine, i assume she knew i’d be staying with the baby’s
when they were leaving she put her daughter in the car seat and she didn’t fasten the straps across her chest, she just fastened the bottom buckles, i was like you forgot the chest buckle, she said no it’s too hard to get fastened, and she cries because it takes me so long to get it unfastened. okay so my baby used to also but i still did it
so i said well let me show you a trick to it. so i showed her if she uses both hands it will unsnap faster, i had to buckle the baby in, but she was like, nah she’s safe as long as one of them is fastened. really how did she come up with that
so now i’m trying to figure out i should tell her that her car seat needs to be adjusted and rear facing with out hurting her feelings
i was thinking like when they come up again, be cleaning my babies and ask her to help me put it back in the car and making a comment about i can’t wait till he’s 1 yr old so i can turn it around forward or something. what do you think
yes i know i will get rude comments about minding my own business, but i’m not going to, so if that is all you have to say, don’t answer, thank you have a great night.
Can A Legit Super Pocket Bike Be Made Street Legal In Pa If It Has A 110 Cc Motor And Safety Specifications?
If the bike has headlights, high beams and low beams and turn signals and a horn it should be able to be registered as a LSV low speed vehicle.
it can be registered for street use in many states. Most of our customers who have wanted to register these bikes for street use have been able to do so. You may need to add a license plate holder and/or rear-view mirrors, or other minor modifications. These items are inexpensive, can be found at most local scooter or motorcycle shops, and are easily attached via simple modifications.
All vehicle(s) come with a factory standard Certificate of Origin (Manufacturer Statement of Origin/MSO) which may be used for registration. We also include an official MSO for registration, with no extra charge for this service.
^^From what the site says ..the bigger super bike that i am getting, not to be confused with the smaller 50 cc models should be able to be street legal.
These are the rules in Florida…but i am in PA hopefully it is the same.
0. Have a motorcycle licence ( for a 110cc it is classified as a motorcycle)- you could try to say to say its 50cc then you dont need one but the certificate will probably say its 110cc.. You will not be required to bring the bike in to the DMV or ever do a riding test for anyone.
1. Headlights, taillights, sideview mirrors, signals, licence plate holder
2. Helmet- if you plan on not buying insurance ( you will defenetally not want to pay the price of the bike each month just on insurance r u nuts!!)
If you dont use helmet, you must have insurance. Cops can pull u over if you ride on streets where there will defenetally be cops, local neihborhood driving you can do without helmet with no cops near.)
3. Bring your factory standard Certificate of Origin (Manufacturer Statement of Origin/MSO) it is the important paperwork the bike comes with
4. Bring your ID
5. Bring $ it will cost $30.00 to put a Licence plate on it which includes the years stickers ( you will have to pay extra each year for new stickers)
6. Bring another $29.75 to get the bike registered
7, Bring some more money of 7% extra of the original purchase price. ( so if bike was bought for $500.00 you will have to pay extra $35.00 at the DMV.)
FOLLOWING THESE STEPS WILL GUARANTEE YOU TO LEGALLY RIDE ON ANY of the X series Mid Bikes( with minor modifications) on PUBLIC ROAD ( except highway)
so a total of about at least $100.00 of registration fees, not including your modification fees is all thats required to ride the bike legally.
BTW: it may sound like im answering my own question but im not about to drop 700 bucks on a super bike and not be able to ride it.
thanks.

Motorcyclists Safety ?
ok, i need your opinion and help. I have to answer this question, Should the united states government require all motorcycle riders to wear helmets? Now this is just for a school project not actual government question. Ok so what i need is for you guys to agree/disagree and please list a core democratic value that supports your decision. If you disagree you could say liberty because blah blah blah. I’d advise agreeing since i have info supporting the if you do wear helmets you are more likely not to die in a crash, so please find a core democratic value that would agree with my question and tell me why. Thanks best answer 10 points like always
Driving Safety In Norway ?
If your riding a motorcycle around the mountanous Mo i Rana area on E6 or any other sub road by the artic racetrack,
since its not the coast but rather the mountains leading into Sweeden,
is it dangerous riding day or night ?
are there wolves, bears, trolls any dangers like that. Do people even ride bikes or scooters around that region ? see here in the US if you were in the Colorado mountains or the Dakota plans, I dont think riding anything but an SUV would be safe in the country roads and stuff.
Safety In Sierra Leone?
How safe is Sierra Leone for white Americans? Is it safe to rent a motorcycle and ride to the rural areas outside Freetown?
What is life like in Sierra Leone? For example, what kind of food could I expect to find? Where are good places to visit near Freetown?
Don’t You Think Everyone These Days Is Too Caught Up W/ Safety And Being Safe?
I asked a question about what kind of motorcycle to get and 9 out of 10 people didn’t answer my question and instead told me not to buy one because they’re “dangerous” … sigh, if everyone on this site are such little wussies then why do I even bother?
Automobile Safety?
Would a person be safer in a car if they are wearing a helmet of some kind…Motorcycle helmet…I know that a helmet can weigh several pounds and don’t know how the kinetic energy would be distributed in an accident without the added seatbelt restraints that race car drivers use…in other words…will a helmet and a normal car seatbelt be more affective than just a seatbelt
Will The The Rates On My Insurance Be Much Better If I Go To Traffic Safety School?
I have two speeding tickets on my record that were three months apart, totaling 8 points on my record. I’m concidering going to Traffic Safety school… that would reduce my points total, by 3, to a total of 5.
Would this be worth it? 5 points is still one more point then a speeding ticket.
Does the Insurance company look at convictions or point totals?
If i were to buy a motorcycle, would this help my insurance quotes on that too?
Why Don’t Atv Companies Put Airbags (safety Device) On Atv’s?
They put them on motorcycles. ATV’s structurally resemble a car more than motorcycles IMHO.
