Is It Legal To Overtake Traffic On A Normal Road On A Motorbike?

Author: I will be doing my A2 test soon and was wondering if i could over take in the following situation: In queuing traffic at traffic lights a car stalls when the lights are green, there is ample space in front of the stalled car. Now i would normally overtake anyway but would i fail if i did that on my test?
