So, every time someone has anything negative to say about Obama, the mainstream media ends up blowing it off because it doesn’t matter, we should be talking about bringing the country together, blah, blah, blah. If we can’t talk about……….

Being a long time member of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) I would expect Mr. West to pick the most liberal candidate since he is even left of the Democratic Party.
Although Obama has been rather tight lipped about his ideology in public, he does seem to share behind closed doors. After only one meeting with Mr. West, he gained a new supporter. What makes this interesting is that Mr. West is pretty darn close to a communist. In fact, he’s quoted as saying Marx was right except for abandoning religion.
The DSA was formed in 1982 by a merger of the Democratic Socialist Organizing Committee, the largest remnant of the defunct Socialist Party of America and the New American Movement. This is the most wildly left wing party in America today.
Doesn’t this hurt Obama amongst moderates and independents that don’t happen to be socialists or communists?

The ‘New Party’ was a political party established by the Democratic Socialists of America (the DSA) to push forth the socialist principles of the DSA by focusing on winnable elections at a local level and spreading the Socialist movement upwards…
The “New Party” claimed Barack Obama was a card carrying member in a 1996 newsletter found on internet archive.

There you have it, the Chicago Democratic Socialists view Obama’s views “well within the mainstream of European social democracy.” Why did Barack Obama earn the affection of the Chicago Democratic Socialists of America? How often did Barack Obama meet with Chicago DSA? Is Obama a member of the Chicago DSA? Does Obama want to turn America into a European style socialist democracy?

Barack Obama was active participant in the 1990s of the Chicago New Party which is merely another name for the Chicago DSA, which is the Chicago Democratic Socialists of America.
