is it hard to do mine is always coming lose i use my motorbike everybike plus it costs a far bit to get it done anytips on doing it my self how do i take a link out the chain and thighten it >?<

by crossing the globe, i mean like lown way round, going from europe to asia, russia, siberia, over to alaska, canada, north america, central america, south america, accross to south aferica, up to egypt, and back round thro europe to london and so on, has anyone done a full lap like that ?? ie all the way round !!

It really depends on the age of the bike and on the brand of the bike (one BMW rider one time told me that his K75 was only broken in after 75k miles, at that time he had more than 150k miles on that bike and engine).
I think it’s more important for what kind of riding the bike was used. A lot of short trips will put much more wear on a bike than a few long trips (even when the mileage of the long trips bike is larger than of the short trips bike).
Another consideration is how often a bike has been used. I think if the bike is standing still most of the time unless some preventive measures are taken (e.g. drip charging, change oil before using the bike again after long period of not riding, make sure the tank is full before putting the bike away so no rust can form, etc) the bike could be in worse condition than a bike that’s been ridden frequently. Obviously the hardly used bike would have a low mileage.
All depends how well the bike has been maintained.

Blondie, I hope you are joking, but if you are, you’re not funny. I mean, really, not funny. Not not funny because you made a joke about something serious, but not funny because you’re not at all amusing or clever.
I live in Vietnam, and the accidents I have been in and seen have overwhelmingly been because other drivers are not driving carefully. I myself have been sideswiped by careless drivers, but as the law of momentum goes when they hit me because they are going much quicker, momentum keeps them up while the slower driver goes down. I have only had a few scratches, but had they done that when I was in front of a bus, I wouldn’t be bashing Blondie right now.
The answer is around 15,000 annually, but it has gone down significantly since they implemented helmet laws in 2007 December. The figures were around 32,000 in 2006.
The sad truth is helmets are required for adults, but infants, toddlers, children and teens needn’t wear helmets. Apparently because their skulls are still soft they cannot be damaged by concrete…
Now I wear a full motorbike helmet, racing style, but I can’t know if it is really safe or not. It has certification stickers on it, but unscrupulous importers and dealers put false stickers on helmets that do not meet safety standards.
My solution, I work at a school and live in the same building…I only drive on those deadly roads maybe once a week.

I don’t know if they measure it by hours, you’ve got to be on the learners and restricted licenses for a set period of time before you can move up to the next level of license.
6 months for the Learner license and then if you’re under 25 you’ve got to be on a restricted license for 18 months until you can apply for your full license, or if you’re over 25, it’s 6 months.

Okay so I was just wondering, are there any guys here who feel that a girl who owns a motorbike is sexy?

or do you feel intimidated, if you see a good looking girl on a bike?
I was having this discussion today, and some of my friends think ANY girl on a bike is a dyke, what does everyone else think?

I have 26 driving lessons booked, (two hour lessons a week, until december), I know driving skills and learning varies with different people. I don’t have much driving experience and no car to practise on. After 26 lessons what stage of driving would I be on?
I am hoping to be ready for my driving test by the end of feb 2010 or march 2010 (still going to take 2 hour lessons a week). All in all I am planning to have about 40 lessons in total (from sep 09 – feb 2010). Would I be ready for the driving test?
I know the dsa recommends approx 44 hours of professional lessons combined with approx 22 hours of private practise. Is this realistic.
please share your experience. (I am 23!)
