No, get new plates and licenses after awhile one there. Don’t know how long you have to do it. But the registration fees are high as well as insurance rates.

When you take your licence, do the longest course you can afford prior to taking your test to give you maximum experience on the bigger bikes.
My local test centre uses cbf500s which are pretty heavy and you need to be pretty competent on a 125 before they will let you use the 500s. Most of the bike school machines are tourers and do not have the same grunt as a sportsbike, so bear that in mind after passing your test as its one thing to ride a cbf500, and another to have a go on something like a cbr600, r6 etc.
As long as you can ride the larger bike safely and have good control when riding at slow speed, you should be fine.
The bike test is going to change in March and become a lot harder and more expensive, so try to book yourself in as soon as you can.
Kit yourself out with the best helmet and protective gear you can, you cant put a price on your life!
Before buying a new bike, make sure you can fit comfortably on it with your feet able to touch the ground, because most new riders will take a spill at some point and youll need to be able to either stabilize the bike or at worse, be strong enough to pick it up from the floor!
Good luck, be confident and listen to your instructor and youll be fine!

i was 17 when i went to kos last year, in some places you dont even need a full uk drivers license but most places you do, the cbt is completely unnessesary and they will usually ask for a cash deposit or your passport just in case you ruin the bike
p.s. if u do ruin it just try to fix it to the extent that it will drive 10 yards down the road coz thats all they do to check and feel free to speed as police are more or less non existent unless you’re near the islands one and only police station

Legislation says up to 660cc and power to weight of 150kw/tonne.
The Ducati 600 SS is in the list, but i’d hate to scratch all that plastic WHEN I drop it for the first time, so probably wouldn’t look at getting one :

So, what would you guys and girls reccomend, and feel free to give advice and criticism on anything else to do with bikes and getting a licence, skills, etc.

I’ve looked around a lot for policies, conditions insrtuctions, you name it, nowhere gives me a clear idea of what i have to do to get on the road or what limitations i will have, engine size and power for example. Can someone please enlighten me?
