Replacing Motorbike Front Break Pads, How?
I have a suzuki burgman an400 2000 model. it has front disc breaks I want to change the pads myself as the breaking isn’t very effective I have to pull the handle all the way to the end for it to work better.
is it nearly like cars? because I can change a cars one easly I haven’t looked properly but just wondering if I can get a website which shows it with pictures or videos for same type of bike.
How Do I Correct A Squeeking Front Brake On My Motorbike?
I’m assuming it squeaks when you apply the brake. I’m not a bike expert, but I have fixed a similar problem on a car disc brake by lightly sanding the rotor and disc with 200-400 grit paper. Might also want to try cleaning it with “brake cleaner” or water from your garden hose first. In cars, it’s usually a build up of brake dust or the pad material being “semi-metallic” (which I don’t recommend anymore)
What And How Do I Claim, From A Pedestrian That Walked Out In Front Of My Motorbike, Thus Braking My Spine.?
I was riding into work on my motorcycle when a pedestrian walked across three lanes, then between two vehicles (vans) and straight into my path, I was doing between 25-30mph and have witnesses, my bike is smashed quite badly and I’m now just out of hospital and have steel holding my spine together, I’m walking but in lots of pain, but how do I go about claiming. My insurance company just said that I’m third party and would only cover me if I were fully comp. any help appreciated

Can A Motorcycle Rider Control The Bike If A Front Or Back Tire Blowout Occurs At High Speed?
I’ve always wondered about how a motorcycle and rider would control and survive a tire blowout, cruising on the freeway at 65-75 MPH? Although it is probably an unusual situation, as most riders do a “flight check” prior to a long ride.
A blowout on a four wheel auto is one thing, but with only two tires, I don’t even want to think about it. A small leak which could cause the tire to go flat, unnoticed until a flat tire would be another situation of safety
If this has ever happened to any of you riders out there, can you give us the details on the road conditions, type and weight of bike you were riding and what damages occured to you and your bike. Thanks
