I have a regular drivers license. I want to get a motorcycle, but I cannot get a motorcycle endorsement on my license at this point (illegal immigrant). Will I get it a lot of trouble if I get pulled over without an “M”. Also, since I have a regular license, could I take the msf or whatever its called safety course and drive around with the certification only? Thanks, any help is appreciated.

I am a college bound student who will be living in a California college dorm. I don’t know if that counts as residence, I have been told that it is not. Right now I have a Washington enhanced driver’s license. I want to ride motorcycles in college and plan to take a motorcycle safety course to get it, but I do not know what state i have to get my endorsement in for it to be legal. If anybody has an understanding of multiple state licensing in general or my specific situation, I would love to be informed.

Will it just transfer, or will I have to take the safety course that all of the people from Florida have to take?

I think the laws should be changed with the scooter craze. I wanna get an 80cc scooter, but anything above 50cc’s you need a motorcycle endorsement for. It really bites, and i hate taking classes. I think the law should be that anything above 50cc’s, and below 80cc’s with an automatic transmission you have to be 21 years old to operate with a drivers liecence. Anybody below 21 years of age should have to take a safety course.

I am planning to embark on a trip to Mexico by motorcycle in a few days. I do not have a motorcycle endorsement on my license; however, I do have a permit and US insurance. Would lacking this endorsement will prevent me from getting Mexican insurance? Would the border agents recognize the permit at all?
