Hi. I’m after one of those little plate things which go under the back wheel to enable you to lubricate the chain without the hassle of chucking it up on a paddock stand. Does anyone know where I can get one? I’ve done numerous Yahoo searches to no avail. Thanks.

is it hard to do mine is always coming lose i use my motorbike everybike plus it costs a far bit to get it done anytips on doing it my self how do i take a link out the chain and thighten it >?<

If you’re into touring or long haul riding, a shaft or belt drive is the way to go. True, shafts are less efficient mechanically at transmitting power, but for touring applications you’ll never notice. Unlike chains, they are much quieter, last the life of the bike and best of all, are much cleaner. No oil splattered around on the back of the bike and no need to carry a greasy can of chain lube in with your clothes when traveling.
Chains and belts are more efficient at putting power to the rear wheel. Belts are quieter than chains, require very infrequent adjustments and are cleaner. Also no need to shove a can of chain lube in with your wife’s best white shirt. (That makes them mad!)
Chains have the advantage of lending themselves to ratio changes quite easily. Change a sprocket and you have a new final drive ratio that suits your particular riding style.

Hi, I want to clean my motorbike chain because it’s all grubby. Obviously WD40 is AMAZING for cleaning oil off of things, but is this bad for my chain? I do know it shouldn’t be used as a lubricant, but what about to clean my chain?

had an accident a while back and the chain had come off. i just slipped the chain back on and it was all fine, but when I drive at low speeds the chain slips off, i want to know what why this is happening.
