I Am About To Take My Motorbike Test, What Should I Look Out For And Be Most Careful About?
Most states have a motorcycle safety course in which you get your license upon completion of the course. The road test is waived because you are actually doing the road test during the course. The course I took began Friday evening with a classroom-type setting (films, etc.). On Saturday, everyone was furnished a 250 cc motorcycle to ride. Instructors demonstrated certain maneuvers and each of us would practice over and over until we could handle the bike comfortably. Sunday we did these moves and were graded; those who passed received their license. This safety course teaches you so much and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Four weeks after completing this course, I rode my bike to the Myrtle Beach Fall Rally which is 500 miles each way. The following year, I rode my bike from Kentucky to Key West (a 2700 mile round trip). To see pics go to our website — we have over 16 pages.
Good luck — see you in the wind!

Going For Motorbike Licence Soon And About To Make Step From 125cc To 500. Any Tips To Make Transition Easy?
When you take your licence, do the longest course you can afford prior to taking your test to give you maximum experience on the bigger bikes.
My local test centre uses cbf500s which are pretty heavy and you need to be pretty competent on a 125 before they will let you use the 500s. Most of the bike school machines are tourers and do not have the same grunt as a sportsbike, so bear that in mind after passing your test as its one thing to ride a cbf500, and another to have a go on something like a cbr600, r6 etc.
As long as you can ride the larger bike safely and have good control when riding at slow speed, you should be fine.
The bike test is going to change in March and become a lot harder and more expensive, so try to book yourself in as soon as you can.
Kit yourself out with the best helmet and protective gear you can, you cant put a price on your life!
Before buying a new bike, make sure you can fit comfortably on it with your feet able to touch the ground, because most new riders will take a spill at some point and youll need to be able to either stabilize the bike or at worse, be strong enough to pick it up from the floor!
Good luck, be confident and listen to your instructor and youll be fine!

Have You Heard These True Stories About Kyle Busch?
Dale Earnhardt Jr was walking across campus when Kyle Busch rides up on a shiny new motorcycle.
“Where did you get such a great bike?”, asked Jr.
Kyle replied, “Well, I was walking along yesterday minding my own business when a beautiful woman rode up on this bike. She threw the bike to the ground, took off all her clothes and said ‘Take what you want.’”
Jr nodded approvingly, “Good choice; the clothes probably wouldn’t have fit.”
Kyle Busch calls the police, and says, “They stole my dashboard, they stole my steering wheel, they stole my brake pedal, Hell, they even stole my gas pedal…”
Then, before the cops can ask where he is, he says, “Hey, never mind, I’m in the back seat.”
Did you hear why Kyle Busch gave up his sponsorship from M&Ms?
He Said he just didnt like to deal with M&Ms, Sure they taste good but “they sure is hard to peel!”
Kyle Busch is out taking a stroll in the snow. He slips off a Icy bridge, hits his head, and falls into an icy river. Three kids see it happen. They jump in and save him. When he comes to, he says, “Boys, you saved a NASCAR driver. You each deserve a reward. You name it, and You Got It!” The first kid says, “I’d like to go to Disneyland.” Kyle Busch says, “I’ll send you and your whole family for a week at Disneyland.” The second boy says, “I’d like a 4 wheeler so I can Go out mudbogging out behind my house” Kyle Busch says, “I’ll get you the best Four Wheeler With all the safety Features and I’ll have someone teach you how to drive it safely.” The third kid says, “I’d like a electric twin-turbo wheelchair with a HiFi stereo and Cruise Control.” #18 says, “I’ll get you the Best … Wait a second, you’re not handicapped, You don’t need a Wheelchair.” The kid says, “I will be when my father finds out who I saved from drowning.”
Is My Girlsfriend Right To Worry About Be Getting A Motorbike?
bluffmike is on the money. Take a safety course (MSF) Worse thing you can do is buy a bike without having ridden one before. The next worse thing is to have your ‘friends’ show you how to ride. They may be good riders but they ARE NOT qualified to teach you how to ride. Think about it..
I think you g/f is more concerned about something happening to you and NOT you doing something stupid. The bad thing about bikes is that you hear more about motorcycle accidents than cars because there are so many fatalities involving bikes. Cars have the benefit of surrounding metal and airbags. What you don’t hear is that most (+75%) motorcycle accidents are NOT the fault of the rider but the OTHER vehicle involved. Don’t get me wrong, I know dipsh*ts that crashed their own bikes because they had no experience or they were reckless in the first place. They brought it on themselves.
Keep an eye out on the SUV broad yapping on her mobile phone. Even more so, look out for those cars making a left turn in front of you.

What Can I Do About My Friend?
I’m living in oldest son of a family who is very good friend with mine. I’m attending university in area he have main house in. He’s letting me living there for free as long as I keep the place clean. It’s quite nice because there are two rooms available that he only rent to foreign students and one for any foreigners tourist he happen to bump in. Also he’s not home too often.
The oldest son is 31 years old and I’ve knew him since I was a baby. He was pretty much a black sheep of the family because his biological father left him and his mother when he was seven years old and his sister was two. So he never really got along with his step dad which makes things very hard on the family. On top of that, he have a huge loss of hearing in both ears so he often have a hard time to hear things and follow conversation unless he’s close to the speaker or watching their lips. So he was pretty much a outcast.
He ended up get GED so he can join army at seventeen. He was in the army until 2002 then no one really knew where he was for next couple years because he was never home and barely stays in touch with anybody. Then he finally came back and bought a house and couples other things such as couple cars and motorcycle, and other things.
Last year I moved in with him. I have got known to him a bit better, but he’s still very odd. He seems to have been all over the world already, and often talk with foreigners in amazing details about different places they have been to, often speak in other languages, and can easily spot a foreigner and guess where they’re from with fairly accurate result.
He also seems to have absolutely no regard for his own safety, he have been thrown in prison in other countries more than once, taking pictures of himself doing dangerous things such as riding on outside of train in India or have someone taking picture of him doing bull run, sporting a firearms and other things. He often do crazy things on motorcycle or ATV and get hurt and come back home and laugh about it. Once I needed a ride and was in hurry so he took me in his Japanese made car instead of muscle car he usually drive, the way he drove was just downright scary, he skid as he turn around the corner, wave around cars, rarely stop, and other things while driving really fast. I got mad at him for this and he thought it was funny and say he have done it on curvy road on mountain before. He’s also always doing things such as rock climbing without harness, sky diving, and other things.
Also every time there’s a conflict in other country, he rushed right there. He often says the most fun thing to do is to be in a war zone or close to it. Also for living, he goes around the world and help business get started in various countries.
Plus he already say he’s really deep in debt and doesn’t really care and that only thing paid off is the house we live in. He also brought in foreign girls for night on regular base. Other thing is, he have tons of scars all over and it isn’t unusual for him to come home from other country with some sort of injury.
I’m getting really worried about him and don’t know what to do. I feel like there’s something really wrong with him.
